The Rapids River Days Parade is one of the most popular parades in Central Minnesota, featuring more than 85 units and 14 marching bands in competition. The route runs along 6th Avenue starting near Pleasantview Elementary School and ending near the SRR Middle School. [SEE ROUTE MAP] Parade goers will enjoy the marching bands, decorated floats, motorized exhibitions, royalty, costumed characters, candy treats and MORE. Bring your neighbors and friends to the Sauk Rapids River Days Parade this summer and fill your evening with excitement and surprises!

Float Decorating Contest!
$200 cash to the BEST in each category.

Get in the Winner's Circle and take home $200 cash if your float design wins BEST award in the Rapids River Days Parade for one of these FIVE categories: 1) Best Business, 2) Best Non-Profit, 3) STORM Green & Gold, 4) We LOVE Sauk Rapids, and 5) Top Truck (fully decorated trucks)! Entry fees apply and units can win in only one category per entry.

ALL FLOATS/UNITS:
The Parade ENDS at Summit Avenue.
Departures MUST be made by turning LEFT or RIGHT onto Summit Avenue. DO NOT continue forward past the Middle School. Only Bands are allowed forward.
